summer of 2012 project

I'm not a big project kind of crafter. My attention span is too short but I have decided I want to challenge myself this summer with a larger than my usual project.

I still have a ton of odd skeins of acrylic yarns from an auction that my husband bought for me that I want to use up. What better way to use those up then a sweet traditional granny square blanket?

I am allowing myself the entire summer to finish it - hoping I can have it finished by the time fall rolls around.

I love not thinking too hard on which yarns I'm choosing. I love to see how the colors work with each other, especially when 2 colors I don't expect to work together turn out so beautiful!

  1. Ooh! I am wanting to make a blanket soon, but it's hot now, so I am only wanting to knit linens and cottons! I cant wait to see the final product
