I finally got the chance to go to a knit circle here in town. I had been wanting to go for a few weeks but something was always going on. Panera just opened up in town and they started meeting there. I worked on a light crocheted spring scarf but mostly admired the amazing work of the other girls! I really enjoyed myself and loved meeting some other yarn crafters!
When I got home Seth had already gotten Blake to bed so I got to continue crocheting. I started an adorable fuzzy bear hat by Alli Hyer of Alli Crafts. It worked up really fast and I think it turned out adorable!
I also used the same yarn to make a few simple coasters.
And today I used some scrap yarn I had to make a cover for a can using Rachel's of Cornflower Blue pattern.
Your little bear hat is adorable! Love the colors in that yarn -- it's very autumn-ish. :) So glad I got to finally meet you; hope to see you again soon!
ReplyDeletethank you! That yarn always reminds me of autumn too. It was really awesome meeting you last night! I will try to make it whenever I can! I had a lot of fun!
DeleteI love the can cozy! The colors are pretty and I like the ribbon woven through!
ReplyDeletethank you! I think the colors turned out better than I expected together. It was nice using some of that scrap yarn I can't seem to throw away!

DeleteIt turned out wonderful! I'd totally wear one of those myself; though animal hats usually look horrible on me, I have a feeling something like this might actually work:)
