I was in the mood for baking this morning so I hunted through some of my recipe books and found a simple cookie recipe that included things I already had at home so no shopping needed! yes!
The recipe I used is from my Better Homes & Gardens book but I found the recipe online here so you can make them too!
They have a crunchy outside and a soft inside. Soooo good!
This looks absolutely divine! Thanks for sharing the recipe too:)

DeleteOhh these look/sound great! Yeah ...I am all set to be a baking fool this fall!! It had been way too hot to use the oven the past few months. I have so many yummy recipes pinned and I hope to do some baking aisle shopping this weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh..I was so happy when you left the comment mentioning our swap a while back! I thought it was you...but wasn't sure...I actually searched for the swap in your blog archives..haha. No luck...new blog? Or am I nuts? Or both? : )
Happy to be connected again! :) I LOVE my pink doily! It is on our mantel!

I actually took a break from blogging for a while and when I decided I wanted to start again I wanted a fresh start so it's a completely new blog. I started from scratch but I am much happier with this blog. I just blog when and what I want instead of competing with all the bigger blogs. :)
DeleteSo no you are not nuts hehe :)
That makes me so happy you still are using the doily! I loved making it for you!
oh how yummy these look! i have the tendency to make my cookies too crispy (aka scatterbrain style cookie) but i could really, really try hard to make these come out perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI may have undercooked them by a minute or so, so when it cooled it was softer. You could try that!
DeleteI have made those before....they are SOOOO good! I really liked them!
ReplyDeleteI am tempted to make them again!!!
your blog is really awesome ! I really can't wait to be back to see some more posts from you in the future!
you are awesome!
have a great rest of your weekend!
