The Thin Dimes

Sometimes living right across the street from a park can be annoying but this past Saturday was a real treat! There was a little festival going on and a sweet little bluegrass/folk band was playing. They sounded really awesome so I took my son over and we listened & danced to them. I am kind of in love with their music! They did 2 performances. My son's nap happened to be during their second performance but because we live right across the street we were able to watch from our front porch! How neat! The Thin Dimes are from St. Louis, MO. You can listen to some more of their songs here

let me see you wobble

I think this is my favorite version of the wobble. :)

Family Force 5 is one of the bands from my high school years that I still need to see live...

ukelele

Seth gave me my mother's day gift early this year... a ukelele! I told him that I wanted to learn to play not thinking I would ever get the chance but he found this ukelele really cheap on ebay. It's nothing fancy but I can begin to learn and if I decide I like it we can get a better one. I am so excited!

crazy love

This song by Hawk Nelson is inspired by the book by Francis Chan. I read this book this past week & I have been really inspired by it as well. It challenged me to look at the way I was living and serving God. I could go on and on about what I learned from this book but I don't like being wordy... so if you are wanting to be challenged at all, this book is a great one!

It's also the inspiration for the title of my blog obviously. I hope I live loving & serving Jesus like He commands us to do.
